Let's stop the bullshit right here, you may hear of personal trainers stating clients have lost 10 pounds in a week, but let's cut the crap it's impossible to loss 10 pounds of fat in one week. To burn one pound of fat you need a calorie deficit of 3500 kcal a week... so yep to lose 10 pounds that would mean you would need to have a calorie deficit of 35'000kcals that's crazy since the average person needs 2000 to 2500 kcals a week.
The NHS recommend a fat loss of 2 pounds a week... yeah that right but remember you didn't put those pounds/kilo of weight on over night or a week, it took you months if not years.. so let's be realistic 2 pounds a week in 12 months would be 104 pounds in a year being 46kg or more commonly heard of being 7 and half stones.. not bad if you think of it that way now is it?
So what truly would they have lost in the week if it wasn't all fat?.... Well first of all water... and secondly as muscle weights the most then you can be assured their weight loss would of been in the way of water = muscle = fat.. not truly the best way of being healthy and loosing weight now is it.
So the next time you overhear or read a post about clients loosing 10 pounds in a week then remember that it's a load of crap... literally.. end off...
